One of the reasons Toyotas keep on going for so long, is the quality of our genuine parts (and the people who sell them).  Working in parts could see you out on the road or back in the dealership, interpreting some pretty special customer requests. There is so much to learn and always something else you can be getting better at.

They let you know that you can move into new departments and that you can be anything. I haven't had that at a job before. That's probably the coolest thing. They are really supportive of you and push you to be better. There is really good mixture of structure and personality.

Is Parts for me?

What are the hours like?

If you like a regular work routine, this is for you. You’ll work a standard 40 hour week, normally starting at 7.30am and ending around 5.30pm. Sometimes your shifts will vary and you might work a Saturday morning.

What kind of people do you look for?

Parts can be like a jigsaw. You’ll need to have an analytical mind, love solving problems and be able to interpret customers’ request for a ‘thing-a-me-jig’ into the part they’re after. A good memory helps. Depending on the role you’ll also need to be good with people and follow up.

Do I need experience?

It can be useful, but not essential, especially for some of the more specialised roles. As with everything we do, you’ll be given full training and plenty of team support on the job.

Parts Advisor/Assistant

Organise, source and sell authentic Toyota parts. Work to get the required parts for the busy workshop, and ensure that the benefits of genuine Toyota parts are well-known and appreciated throughout your region.
